Final Fantasy XV...on the Switch?!

At Gamescon, Square Enix released a teaser statement that they are thinking about bringing Final Fantasy XV to the Nintendo Switch.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which launched for WiiU and Switch in March, inspired many developers...Hajime Tabata in particular.

In an interview with Gamespot lead to some great information of where they are thinking of going with the game. During the interview, Tabata states that he really wants to recreate the feelings that players experienced playing the open world Zelda.

He goes on to state, "We have in our disposal to create a very, very high-quality game with a strong visual element to it, whild creating a world that's really immersive and really beautiful. That's probably our goals in terms of what we want to be with our next project."

Wait....hold on a freaking minute. I absolutely loved (well...still love) The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and I have been a long time fan of the Final Fantasy series. To take our beloved characters and insert it in to an open and immersive world like the creators of Zelda managed to do....they have definitely peaked my interest and I will now be eagerly awaiting more information as it is released!
